HUE is dedicated to creating a platform where Vietnamese culture can be celebrated, preserved, and shared across generations. The organization’s main activities focus on engaging the community, especially youth and families, in cultural exchange, education, and leadership development. Here are the key activities that drive HUE’s mission:

1. Cultural Programs and Events: Partnering with the community events such as festivals, art shows, traditional performances, and cultural workshops to showcase Vietnamese customs, food, art, and music. 

2. Youth Leadership Development: Establishing a Youth Advisory Board (YAB) that allows young people to take an active role in shaping the organization’s programs and outreach. Offering leadership training, workshops, and opportunities for youth to engage in cultural advocacy and community service. Providing scholarships or grants to support young people pursuing education in areas related to cultural preservation, the arts, or community development.

3. Family and Parent Engagement: Creating the Parents Advisory Board (PAB) to involve parents in shaping youth and family programming, ensuring that Vietnamese cultural values are maintained and passed down. Hosting family-oriented workshops, including cooking classes, traditional craft workshops, and community service projects, to promote intergenerational bonding and cultural learning.

4. Community Education and Outreach: Collaborating with schools, libraries, and local organizations to promote awareness of Vietnamese culture through educational programs, exhibitions, and outreach activities. Creating multimedia content, such as videos, articles, and podcasts, that highlight key aspects of Vietnamese history, traditions, and contemporary cultural contributions.

5. Cultural Preservation and Innovation Projects: Supporting research and development of cultural preservation projects, such as documenting oral histories, collecting artifacts, or creating digital archives of traditional Vietnamese customs and practices. Encouraging collaboration between artists, musicians, and filmmakers to create new works inspired by Vietnamese heritage, blending traditional and modern elements.

6. Community Building and Networking: Facilitating networking events and meetups to build a supportive community where individuals of all ages can share experiences, learn from one another, and create lasting connections. Partnering with other cultural organizations, local businesses, and academic institutions to amplify the reach and impact of Vietnamese cultural programming.
